Payment Terms

Here's how money moves on Rewaya.
1. How payments work
All payments go through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles all of that.
2. What you can pay with
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover)
- PayPal
- Apple Pay (where available)
Everything is in US dollars.
3. When you're charged
You're charged the full amount (item + shipping) at checkout. It happens right away.
4. When sellers get paid
| Seller type | Payout timing |
|---|---|
| Established (4+ sales) | 3 days after tracking is provided |
| New (first 3 sales) | Delivery confirmed, or 10 days after tracking |
Payouts go to the bank account or debit card you connect through Stripe. After we release the payout, it usually takes 1-3 business days to show up depending on your bank.
To get paid, sellers need to verify their identity through Stripe and connect a bank account. The app walks you through this.
5. Fees
Rewaya may charge a platform fee per sale. You'll always see the fee before confirming. Stripe's standard processing fees also apply.
6. Refunds
If a refund is issued (see Refund Policy), it goes back to the original payment method. Credit/debit cards take 5-10 business days. PayPal takes 3-5. These timelines are up to your bank, not us.
7. Currency
All transactions are in USD. If your card is in another currency, your bank handles the conversion and may charge their own fee.
8. Taxes
Sellers are responsible for their own taxes. We don't collect or remit sales tax on your behalf. Talk to a tax professional if you're unsure about your obligations.
9. Security
HTTPS everywhere. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. We never touch your full card number. Suspicious activity gets flagged automatically.
